Food Distribution

 Spring 2020 Quarter Update

Presenting the quarter update for Provisions (a food and diaper distribution) Ministry-“Feeding bodies, Feeding souls.” Since our last update in early January, the ministry has grown at an amazing rate. We have expanded our donations to include toiletries, diapers, hygiene products, and hopefully soon to include school supplies along with 3000 to 4000 pounds of food distributed at each event. We have also been invited to take part in the “Do Something Church Conference” in Point Loma as a model for other churches to follow and set up a similar ministry. Unfortunately, because of the virus, it has been postponed until next year. Volunteer sign-ups have increased as we have had well over 100 people who have volunteered at one time or another. Volunteers are taking on new responsibilities and input is at an all-time high! We continue to improve with each distribution. Thanks to all who selflessly serve. Our volunteers are the best!!
