Gospel Line Dance

Purpose

The purpose of the Dance Like David Gospel Line Dance Ministry is to spread encouragement by 1) reflecting on the scriptures that inspired the lyrics of various gospel songs, 2) applying to our lives the promises of God found in the scriptures, and 3) line dancing to gospel music as an act of worship.

There are two parts to our ministry meetings, 1) group devotionals and 2) line dancing.

Our devotionals are "reminders". They are not deep, theological bible studies, but rather simple reminders of God's love for us. We all know that our spouses, parents, children, etc. love us, but it's still nice to hear them tell us. When going through life's daily challenges, it's refreshing to hear God tell us that He loves us.

The music consists of upbeat gospel songs with uplifting, scripture-inspired lyrics. All of the line dances that are taught are beginner level dances that require no previous dance experience.
