Did you know that more than 10,000 men, women, and children are homeless in San Diego County every night? Homelessness is well-known problem. It's everywhere we go. Be part of ending homelessness in San Diego, and ultimately, across America.
On April 24-25 2010, San Diego Rescue Mission is partnering with many other homeless services providers in hosting the 4th Annual Sleepless San Diego at Liberty Station. Join hundreds of people from all over San Diego in an all-night event to raise awareness of homelessness. The funds go to help thousands of local homeless men, women, and children put their lives back together.
The 2010 Benefit Sleepout to end homelessness will take place at Liberty Station in Point Loma by the Rock Church (Historic Decatur Rd). Private security will be in place continuously throughout the night. Early registration is a must www.SleeplessSanDiego.org. Participants should bring everything they need to spend the night outdoors. In the event of rain, the event will not be canceled.
