Because in the act of giving, we find a sense of purpose and a profound joy that transcends material possessions. It’s very true…you cannot out-give God.
Generosity lights up the world, scattering seeds of hope, compassion, and kindness. It reminds us that our true wealth lies not in what we accumulate for ourselves, but in what we share with others.

Traveling to see family, hosting a holiday party for friends, decorating your home, baking tasty treats to share, mailing holiday cards. And the big one – gift giving! It’s such a fun and special time of the year as we celebrate the birth of Jesus.
Do you have a budget in mind for what you’ll spend this holiday season?
What?!? A budget for Christmas? Yes! It can be done, and by having one you can avoid that horrible feeling that comes in January from going overboard.

Is it too early to be thinking about 2024? Not at all! The way to reach your goals is to plan ahead.
Before the holiday season is upon us, with all its fun and festivities, take a break and consider your 2024 budget. What strategic planning can you do right now? Are there any special occasions happening next year that need to go into your budget (think high school graduation, family reunion trip, a wedding, etc)?
And speaking of the holidays, have you considered your budget for thanksgiving dinner, holiday gifts and travel? By thinking this through now, and making a plan, you can avoid overspending and having the “post holiday budget blues.”
Being a wise steward is about being intentional.
Be encouraged with budgeting tips and wisdom for approaching the holidays and the new year.
