The purpose of the Altar Call Ministry is to provide compassionate care and next steps to those who come forward to the altar after a Rock Church service.
The time spent with those that come forward is extremely important in helping them understand their commitment to Christ and how they can get connected into our church family. It will also help you, as a counselor, to grow in your relationship with the Lord as you share biblical truths to those that come forward.
You do not have to know everything. You just need to have a willing and teachable heart!
Before you can become part of the Altar Call Team you will need to attend a 2.25 hour training session, and an observation process. If you would like to check it out first before attending the training you can do a first serve. Ask a leader at any of the services and they can explain it to you and the commitment.
