God is worthy. The word worthy means to recognize someone or something as having merit. He is worthy of all our praise and worship. The Bible says in Revelation 12:5, “Worthy is the Lamb who was slain to receive power and riches and wisdom, and strength and honor and glory and blessing!” He deserves it all, and is honored when we recognize Him as the One whom we adore.

And because Jesus is worthy, He calls us to walk worthy of the calling He has placed on our lives (Eph. 4:1). He is deserving of our best, as we trust Him in faith.
