About this Series

One thing I have desired of the Lord, That will I seek: That I may dwell in the house of the Lord All the days of my life, To behold the beauty of the Lord, And to inquire in His temple. Psalm 27:4 more...

David’s prayer in Psalm 27:4 doesn’t depict a blind faith or a faith that is hesitant to ask questions. Instead, David expresses a desire to look deeply into the eyes of Jesus and inquire boldly in his temple. This is relational faith!

As we navigate the tensions of our current moment, we believe that the Church should actively lean into cultural conversations. Rather than burying our questions or avoiding hard topics, we want to seek biblical truth in the context of community!

We don’t need to wrestle alone or suffer silently! We don’t need to bury the questions that keep us up late at night or hide the doubts that surface in our minds. Instead – just like David – we are invited to lay our doubts, fears, and struggles at the feet of Jesus and to process honestly before him. We are called to gaze upon his beauty and ask honest questions. And we get to do this in the sanctuary of God’s house – alongside other people!

“We Need to Talk” is a 12-week sermon series that explores a few of the questions and topics that you have requested. This is a space for open and honest conversations around anxiety and depression, forgiveness, the supernatural, and the role of the Holy Spirit. We need to talk - we’ll see you there!
