The Rock Church Hiking Ministry's second January hike takes us to El Monte County Park and the Historic Flume Trail. It will be a fun time of hiking, fellowship and worship while enjoying the beauty of God's creation! Hope to see you there! This trail is not to be confused with the Helix Flume Trail, which is nearby.

The trailhead is located at the west end of the park. There is a free parking lot across from the trailhead on El Monte Rd. This lot can be easily missed. El Monte County Park doesn't open until 9:30 a.m.

This is a difficult hike, with an elevation gain of 1,292 feet. Please self-evaluate your hiking and fitness levels before attempting this journey.

You must sign the Rock Church waiver form to participate in this hike. Forms will be available at the event.

For we walk by faith, not by sight - 2 Corinthians 5:7

Meet at the trailhead at 8:30 a.m.
Hike starts at 8:45 a.m.
