Join the Rock Church Hiking Ministry family as we hike the Big Laguna Meadow in the Laguna Mountain Recreation Area. We will meet at the Sunset Trailhead on Sunrise Hwy. at 8:15 a.m.

We'll hike on the Big Laguna Trail, where we will walk along the meadow and pass the Big and Little Laguna Lakes. We'll stop at the Laguna Campground for a food break and a time of worship

A National Forest Adventure Pass is needed to park on Sunrise Hwy. $5 Day passes are available at the vending machine by the porta-potties.

This is a moderately strenuous hike, with hills. There is some elevation gain and we will be hiking above 5,500 feet. The altitude will affect your breathing. Please self-evaluate your fitness and hiking levels before attempting this hike. You are free to hike at your own pace. However, if you fall behind the group, it is your responsibility to safely complete the hike.

If there is interest, we can go out to eat afterwards.

I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with my eye. - Psalms 32:8
