Are you off on Nov. 11, Veterans Day? Join the Rock Church Hiking Ministry at Cabrillo National Monument as we hike the Bayside Trail. We will meet in front of the Visitor Center at 9:15 a.m. Admission to Cabrillo National Monument is free on this day.
The Bayside Trail, which offers spectacular views of San Diego, Coronado and points east, is 2 miles round trip.
The hiking ministry is committed to your safety! Please have a mask and adhere to social distancing protocols. Failure to follow these protocols can result in the ministry being shut down again. To be safe during the COVID-19 pandemic, there will be no official carpool to this event.

This hike will be rated moderate, due to a long hill on the way back up. Please self-evaluate your fitness and hiking levels before attempting this hike.

Weather: It will be cool in the morning before warming up. Be prepared for windy conditions. Hike will be cancelled if it rains.
I-8 west to the end. Make a left onto Nimitz Blvd. Make a right at Chatsworth Blvd. At the end of Chatsworth Blvd., make a left onto Catalina Blvd. Stay on Catalina Blvd. past Fort Rosecrans until you reach Cabrillo National Monument. Admission will be FREE on Veterans Day.
