God created us to be in community and Groups exist for us to grow closer with Jesus and to make disciples. We want to ensure that every member of Rock Church participates in a discipleship relationship that reproduces the life of Christ in another person and themselves.
We are here to help you on your journey, and one way we are doing so is through Book Clubs. Starting the week of July 19th, we are starting online book clubs with our new series The Difference Maker. You can join a group or start hosting a group at any time during the series, and move at your own pace. We have selected four recommended readings to choose from, and we will provide you weekly discussion questions to help you along the way.
You can pre-order your book online through the Rockpile bookstore.

The four recommended books to choose from are as follows:
Masterful Living by Kevin Mannoia
"Masterful Living is holy living because you’re full of the Master – who is holy. Learn how God can become visible in you, transforming you and extending outward from the center of your life through: Transformed Character, Responsible Engagement, Healthy Relationships, Wise Decisions, Integrated Life, Purposeful Heart, Servant Leadership, Meaningful Work, Curious Thinking, Restored Self."
Cost of Discipleship by Dietrich Bonhoeffer
"What can the call to discipleship, the adherence to the word of Jesus, mean today to the businessman, the soldier, the laborer, or the aristocrat? What did Jesus mean to say to us? What is his will for us today? Drawing on the Sermon on the Mount, Dietrich Bonhoeffer answers these timeless questions by providing a seminal reading of the dichotomy between "cheap grace" and "costly grace"."
The Third Option by Miles McPherson
"The Third Option challenges us to fully embrace God’s creativity and beauty, as expressed in the diversity of His people. By following the steps and praying the prayers outlined in his book, Pastor Miles teaches us how we can all become leaders in unifying our communities, our churches, and the nation."
Preaching the Luminous Word by Ellen F. Davis
"Inviting serious theological engagement with texts from all parts of the Christian Bible, Preaching the Luminous Word is a collection of fifty-one sermons and five related essays from noted preacher and biblical scholar Ellen F. Davis."
