Join the Rock Church Pt. Loma Hiking Ministry family as we hike Blue Sky Ecological Reserve in Poway. It's always a fun time of fellowship and enjoying the beauty of God's creation!
We will travel to Poway and start our adventure at the Blue Sky Ecological Reserve trailhead, turn right about a mile in and head towards Lake Poway. At the half-way point, we will take a hydration/snack break and do worship. We will circle the lake and return the way we came. More information on the reserve and trails can be found here.
This moderate-level hike is 5.3 miles long, with some hills, and is kid and dog-friendly. Dogs must be on leash. Please self-evaluate your fitness and hiking levels before attempting this hike.
Hope to see you there! If anyone wishes to do lunch afterwards, we can set something up.
