ABOUT GOOD FRIDAY
Good Friday is proof that we serve a God who knows our pain. Jesus took on our sin and suffering on the cross. Before he died, he prayed a simple prayer: “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing” (Luke 23:34).
Come experience a unique worship service with creative elements, communion, and a powerful message about the cross. We serve a God who doesn’t stay distant. Instead, he inserts himself into our suffering and offers us hope and life. Jesus died on the cross, but the story didn’t end there…

If you are an active member of the Rock Church family, we encourage you to attend on Saturday to make more room for first-time guests on Sunday.

ABOUT EASTER SUNDAY
2,000 years ago, Jesus was crucified and laid to rest in a tomb – but he didn’t stay there! Three days later, he rose from the dead, proving that he is the Son of God. This resurrection isn’t merely a historical event; it carries deep significance for us today. When we say ‘yes’ to Jesus, we receive new life!
Join us on Easter at all of our campuses as we celebrate the resurrection and the one who brings us back to life.
The Resurrection Story
Jesus rose from the dead over 2,000 years ago, but that news is still as wild and shocking and deeply relevant today as it was when Mary Magdalene first heard it.
The world was then - and is now - full of chaos. Between sickness, wars, poverty, and the endless cycle of pain, it can be easy to feel overwhelmed. Many of us have never felt less control of our lives than we do today. Many of us have never felt the weight of global grief more strongly... or empathized more deeply.
But Jesus came into this chaos with a plan. He lived a perfect life, He died on a cross, and He conquered death by rising from the grave three days later. And He did this all so that we could receive new life - so that we could walk in resurrection power.
Romans 8:11 tells us, "The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, He will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you.”
This means that the same incredible power that brought Jesus back to life is at work in us, offering us new life and strength every day!
Life may feel heavy and hard and overwhelming sometimes, but we aren’t doing this on our own. This is the mystery of the gospel. Jesus, who is God-with-us, will fill us with resurrection life if we ask.
And as we reflect on this reality, it leaves us with a question:
Do you really believe in the resurrection? Will you allow God into the brokenness of your life and bring resurrection to it?
If your answer is yes, this should change everything.
It is finished.
—By Sarah Katsiyiannis
when You said it was finished
we believed You, especially when
saturday was silent after friday’s slaughter,
but now, thousands of years later,
we turn the page to sunday to read the end,
and the main character doesn’t stay dead,
He rose again, and on monday, tuesday,
wednesday, and thursday He was seen by
His disciples and friends, and i can still see Him
now walking about on the water as the sun sets
in the hospital when doctors can’t explain
the miracle with science, when He gives a
home to the homeless, a second chance to
someone who’s already had too many. His Spirit
isn’t finished, no, He is just getting started.
The Resurrection is for Everyone!
